Northern Bear Building Services has taken on another three apprentices adding to the number of young men and women who are learning new skills with the company.
In particular, Shannon Abdo, who started as an apprentice in administration three years ago has successfully completed her NVQ Level 3 Qualification in Business Administration. A lot of hard work and determination gained her a distinction in all areas of her qualification.
Managing director Neil Jukes said: “As we continue to expand our business, we continue to support the younger generation in offering apprenticeships within our group and across the industry. This is a great way to start a career in the construction section and provides the opportunity for young men and women alike to choose from a number of trades including bricklaying, carpentry and joinery, general construction and plastering. Apprentices are placed with a mentor enabling knowledge to be handed down to the next generation.”
