The most recent addition to the Northern Bear family of businesses has been very busy in the last 12 months.
H Peel & Sons Ltd, based in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire, specialises in the design and installation of commercial interiors all over the country for a diverse range of clients: from pubs to gyms, from student unions to care homes, from hotels to offices. Its recent projects include the fitting out of the Virgin Active fitness centre in Wandsworth and the completely new look for the 130-year-old Ilkley Bowling Club.
The company was acquired by Northern Bear plc in July 2017. When asked what difference this had made, Joint Managing Director Dominic Brogan said: “Our clients should not notice any difference. The transition was seamless and we have continued to provide the same high level of good service and quality craftsmanship, but our management and staff do feel a positive change. We are now part of a larger group with substantial resources, expertise and experience. We continue to operate independently on a day-to-day basis, but we know we can turn to Northern Bear plc for support if we should need it.”
