H Peel & Sons: Enhancing the Experience at Moto Hospitality Service Stations

As part of the Northern Bear Group, H Peel & Sons boasts a long-standing reputation for delivering exceptional refurbishment and fit-out projects across diverse sectors. Two standout achievements in recent years are the projects completed at Moto Hospitality Ltd’s service stations at Ferrybridge and Rugby. These two high-profile locations showcase H Peel & Sons’ ability to transform spaces into vibrant, functional hubs, enhancing the journey experience for motorists.

Ferrybridge: Revitalising a Gateway for Travelers

At Moto Ferrybridge, H Peel & Sons undertook an ambitious seven-month project, completed in September 2022, with a value of £1,450,000. The refurbishment aimed to reimagine the service station into a more inviting and efficient space for travellers. The project included the extension and complete overhaul of the toilet and shower areas, the modernisation of communal spaces, and the reconfiguration and refurbishment of key retail units such as WH Smith and M&S.

To further enhance the experience, new retail units were created for brands like Greggs, KFC, Pret A Manger, and Costa, offering a wider variety of dining options for visitors. The project also encompassed essential external works, ensuring improved site infrastructure and accessibility. Remarkably, the site remained fully operational throughout the project, with all existing units open for business. This seamless execution highlights H Peel & Sons’ meticulous planning and dedication to minimising disruption while delivering high-quality results.

Rugby: Setting a Benchmark for Service Station Excellence

Moto Rugby presented a different challenge—a fast-paced, high-precision fit-out of a newly constructed service station. Completed in just 10 weeks in November 2020, with a project value of £365,000, this project showcased H Peel & Sons’ expertise in delivering exceptional results on a tight timeline.

The work involved fitting out spaces for Marks & Spencer, WH Smith, the BP forecourt, and an Adult Games Centre (AGC). From partitions and suspended ceilings to bespoke joinery, wall cladding, and retail display units, every element was designed and installed to meet stringent brand standards. Infrastructure work included mechanical and electrical installations, ventilation, fire protection, flooring, and decoration, ensuring that the site was fully operational and visually stunning upon completion.

The finished site reflects a modern, customer-focused vision, offering convenience, comfort, and an elevated experience for today’s discerning travellers’.
