Simon Carr CBE brings over 45 years of experience in the construction industry, with extensive leadership roles in both private and public companies. He previously served as Managing Director of Henry Boot Construction Limited and was a member of the Executive Committee of Henry Boot Plc. Simon also contributed to regional development as a board member of the Sheffield City Region Local Enterprise Partnership for eight years.
Nationally, Simon has held influential positions, including membership in the CBI Construction Council and serving as the national chair of the National Federation of Builders. In 2020, he was awarded a CBE in recognition of his services to the construction industry and charity.
Simon currently chairs the boards of Road Link (A69) Limited and Road Link (A69) Holdings Limited and is a trustee of the Beverly Minster Old Fund. He also serves as the Independent Company Secretary for the National Federation of Builders.
