York Racecourse is renowned as one of the premier racecourses in the world, and its latest £5 million redevelopment sought to enhance the visitor experience while ensuring the site’s long-term sustainability. As part of the improvements, the historic Bustardthorpe Stand was refurbished, a new Roberto Village Bar was constructed, additional racegoer lawn areas were created, and significant environmental initiatives were introduced, including solar panel installations and a rainwater harvesting system.
