New library for old university

Northern Bear Building Services has completed work on the new Learning Resource Centre for the prestigious St. John’s College in Durham. The new build project included a state of the art lecture room and seminar room together with a new library, offices and associated toilets and external space. The college will be moving over 27,000 books into the new library of the coming weeks.

Richard Leech, Chairman of the Sir William Leech Charity, the founding benefactor, received the keys from Northern Bear site manager Richard Johnson. A project delivered through great teamwork from all parties involved in this UNESCO Durham World Heritage site.
